Suits and lehengas cost more because of lining, interlining and hand-finishing hours; kurtis and blouses are quicker. On Darzito the price is confirmed before pickup and does not change unless you add something yourself.

Timeline questions

Three days is the standard turnaround for most garments from the moment of pickup. Express tailoring can compress this to hours for simpler pieces. Bridal and heavy embroidery work should always be booked weeks ahead.

Fabric and material questions

For stitching orders you supply the fabric, and it helps to pre-wash anything likely to shrink. Threads, buttons, hooks, zips and standard lining are included. If you would rather not source fabric, mention it at booking and the tailor will bring options.

Fit and alteration questions

Every stitching order includes one complimentary alteration after trial. Common alterations — hemming, taking in seams, sleeve shortening, zip replacement — can also be booked on their own without a stitching order.
